I do! Perhaps it’s because my last name is Lavonier. (That’s lah-VONE-yay) Jon Scieszka knows what I mean. (That’s SHEH ska)

If you’re not familiar with Jon Scieszka‘s work, you should be, regardless of the age of your readers. He’ll be featured on this blog, more than once.

This piece was published in the November/December 1996 issue of The Horn Book Magazine, an amazing publication about books for children and young adults.
