About Book Lists

Turtle and Robot’s Book Lists will focus on a specific topic and will feature a selection of books, related to that topic, that are not so obvious. The books chosen may not appear in a web search because it’s not apparent by their titles that they pertain to the topic at hand. These are books that I know are suitable for a specific topic because I know the books, and I like them.

Maybe you’re a parent with a child that loves birds and you have exhausted every single book that you could find about birds or starring birds or in any way remotely related to birds. Perhaps you know a five year old who just expressed an interested in robots and you’re wondering which picture books featuring robots are really the best.

Perhaps you’re a teacher working on a curriculum about foreign countries and you’d like to include some fiction titles that take place in the countries you’re including. Or maybe you’re gathering a selection of books for National Poetry Month and you want to introduce your students to something they may not already know.

These books may not be accompanied by a review but, like all books on Turtle and Robot, they will be quality books I think are worthy of their reader’s time.
